| Red Nose Day - Y1 assembly |

 Year 1 had their class assembly today and the subject was "Red Nose Day"The children made all of the parents laugh with their jokes, but also spoke about the how Red Nose Day helps children less fortunate than themselves. As part of the assembly the children collected money in return for helping out with jobs at home. They raised nearly £80 as a result, and this will be donated to Comic Relief. The children all wore something red for the day. Next week is Red Nose Day itself, and the school are asking all the children if they could wear something red for the day - in return for a £1 donation to Comic Relief. Red Nose Day is on Friday 16th March. |
